PepperCreek Revival

PepperCreek Revival is a collective of renowned Melbourne musicians, put together by 2022 Blues Music Victoria Hall of Fame inductee and award-winning producer / bass player Barry Hills who wanted to explore a new and innovative approach. Hill’s idea was to form a hand-picked group of experienced and talented session players who could adapt their playing styles to suit any musical style artist, both with live performance & in the studio.

The group consists of three award winning musicians: Brian Fraser on lap steel, electric and acoustic guitars, vocals; Roland Kretschmer on electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, vocals; and drummer and vocalist Nick Carrafa.

With two recording sessions already completed, the opportunity to work with multiple award-winning singer/songwriter Kelly Auty, who was looking for a new musical direction, was the perfect choice for the band’s next project.

The Band’s self-titled Album was released in November 2024 & went straight into #2 on the Australian Blues & Roots charts & is still holding in the top 12 after 5 months.

“The playing is superb, perfectly complimenting Auty’s vocals. When you have a voice this strong, the temptation is to over-sing. But Kelly Auty realizes the beauty of restraint. Everything sounds eƯortless on PepperCreek Revival’s self-titled debut. Not a syllable seems out of place”

PIRRITU’s music is a gentle, honest, and melodic personal journey that entices you into the depths of sadness, love, and shimmering hope.

With two album releases under his belt, The songman’s work honours a cultural journey to connect back to land, language, and family with a continual thirst for deeper understanding of his people and country. Pirritu’s music features folk instrumentation weaving amongst his unique vocals like the gentle wind and waters that the Ngiyampaa man sings of.

Don't miss Pirritu live at Lomond Hotel, Sat 17 May backed by his band + guests.
