Parle Green are a 5-piece band hailing from Naarm/Melbourne who are kind of Psychedelic but there are a few different things going on. I asked some friends what we sound like and there were avariety of responses, my personal favourite being “Cool / interesting / lots of sounds.” But there were other terms thrown around such as “meditative” and “transcendental” so make of that what you will. We’ve been together for a few years, but we only recently started playing gigs because in case you didn’t hear about it there was a big pandemic and gigs got shut down for ages. Now things are open again and it’s a lot more fun playing music for everyone and making new friends. We will be playing at the Post Office Hotel on Saturday Feb 18 th with another band called Pretty in Pink who I really like because I think their songs sound soothing and pleasant and their singer has a really lovely voice.
