Omniversal Hum presents the legendary Japanese experimental post-free-jazz drummer Shoji Hano in a collaborative performance with the highly energetic and expanded double bass playing of Sydney artist and curator Clayton Thomas.

Naarm based hyper-evolving avant-rock group ‘Cloud Ice 9’ bring their satiating albeit occasionally unsettling oddness to the Curtin stage.

‘Act Now’, comprising of underground music icon Tarquin Manek and Total Control drummer James Vinci will perform their unique versions of lofi-dub and improvisational drum machine experiments.

Opening the night is a debut trio performance featuring some members of the Australian Art Orchestra. The ensemble includes Sofia Carbonara (percussion), Peggy Lee (cello), Miyama McQueen-Tokita.

Rama Parwata will ornament the evening with selected recorded music before and between all performances.
