WTF Tuesdays are back at the Green! A new series mixing up jazz improv sessions- contemporary classical- and live scores to classic movies.

This Tuesday features two sets from bandleader/composer/drummer Oliver Ledi Hanane.

Oliver Ledi Hanane X-Tets: Chance:

A new exploration into using Indeterminate compositional methods as a means to write music for improvisers. Incorporating intentional use of Chance and Choice in the writing and performance of music.

Influenced by the compositions of John Cage, Krzysztof Penderecki, John Zorn and the wider experimental music movement of the 1950s.

Set 1.

(Very) New tunes from all members composed over dinner, to spur the improvisational juices. An exercise in (semi) Aleatoric composition.
