nightlight Presents: Playing The Flame is a collaboration between Laura Lazzara and Hayley Austen of nightlight, their friends and their local community. Feeling stunned and saddened at the current state of the country’s climate crisis, the pair decided to help out in the best way they knew how - through music. A collection of four events held across local Melbourne venues in February, the bushfire relief mini-fest will raise money for CFA Victoria whilst simultaneously showcasing the local talent involved. This is the 1st instalment, a night of synth-pop and electronic flavours held at The Workers Club.
