Melbourne singer-songwriter Nat Vazer emerged in early 2018 with her self-released debut single ‘Keep Away From Parks!’, quickly catching the ears of Triple J radio. After being told by a policeman to stay away from her local parks and to never go out without a man at night, she wrote ‘Keep Away From Parks!’ as a blunt reminder of the victim-blaming attitudes that people, and women in particular, still put up with all too often.
With glowing reviews from Richard Kingsmill, The Revue and The Indie Folx – Nat Vazer has been dubbed as ‘one worth keeping your ears glued to’ – Dave Ruby Howe, Triple J.
To celebrate the release of her third single, Nat Vazer will be playing a single launch show at Yah Yah’s on 7 September with her live band and supporting acts: Telescreen and Sleeping Lessons.
