Mess Esque the collaboration of Dirty3’s Mick Turner and Brisbane based vocalist Helen Franzmann (aka McKisco). 
Formed remotely during covid lockdowns then releasing 2 albums in 2022 to much acclaim saw Mess Esque tour Australia, USA and Europe including being invited to play at Wilco’s Solid Sound festival in USA. Catch them in a rare Melbourne appearance at Northcote Social Club Thursday 4th April. 
Supported by folk chameleon Jess Ribeiro promoting her fabulous “Summer of love “ and  “Everything is now” singles off her soon to be released “Summer of love” album. Catch her in possibly her last show before an upcoming European tour.

Mess Esque coalesce from ripples of guitar and shudders of emotion into the bumps and grooves of songs with biologic inevitability. Mick Turner’s aquatic guitar moods are met where they live and breathe by the vocals and dream imagery of Helen Franzmann aka McKisko, causing nights, moons, low tides and empty landscapes to simmer and implode.
