Held across the Festival’s new Literary Precinct from 30 August to 8 September, Melbourne Writers Festival brings together some of the world’s leading authors, artists, journalists, poets, playwrights and songwriters to celebrate the myriad ways words move and inspire us.
Through the lens of this year’s theme, When We Talk About Love, artists will tell stories of resilience, of heartbreak and letting go, family, bodies and home – bringing the City of Literature to life for a ten-day celebration of talks, oration, music, immersive art and performance.
MWF's Duets Program features artists in conversation with other artists including:
Cat Hope & Karina Utomo
Georgia Maq & Angie McMahon
Birdz & Kutcha Edwards
Urthboy & Ecca Vandal
