Beloved Melbourne Indie Voices announce a second show at the Forum, Melbourne on Sunday the 27th October, with the first now sold out. Celebrating the songs of Australian artists such as Courtney Barnett, Kira Puru, Ali Barter, Ainslie Wills, Mark Lang, Jen Cloher, Husky and international artists Maggie Rogers, Aurora, Tune-Yards and much more. Melbourne Indie Voices is a new breed of choir both non-traditional and left of centre, they perform acclaimed interpretations of their favourite indie artists both at home and abroad. Led by renowned composers Phia and Joshua Teicher their work is frequently viral and thoroughly Australian. MIV has performed onstage with legendary Australian artists Paul Kelly, Paul Dempsey (Something For Kate), Jen Cloher. Vika and Linda Bull, Ali Barter, Georgia Fields and Clare Bowditch. The night will feature internationally-acclaimed secret special guests, full theatre sing-a-longs and Phia’s cutting-edge vocal arrangements of the best new indie music.
