Marley Del Prete is an improvising trumpeter from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia who draws from spiritual and free jazz to create something extremely unique. Marley’s practice explores the link between intense improvised trumpet and beautiful sultry melodies.

Marley is quickly becoming a very interesting and singular voice in the Melbourne music scene through his carefully crafted music that travels through meditations and intensely free jazz. Marley draws from influences such as Don Cherry, Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane and many more. In August of 2023 Marley is releasing his debut LP ‘Movement’, so make sure to keep an ear out!
