Melbourne’s high-energy Flamenco rockers MALCURA will return to the stage on Saturday November 27 to perform their second album, “Malcura II” IN FULL at The Toff, with a variety of special guest musicians including the “Top Danger Horns” (Mortisville and Friends, Mr. Kapow, Roswell).

The date will mark the one year anniversary of “Malcura II”, which was never properly ‘launched’ due to the 2020 lockdowns. Performing live with horns on this special event, Malcura will flesh out the album’s use of extra studio instrumentation, bringing the full “Malcura II” sound to life on stage.

Supporting Malcura will be renowned Bendigo-based Blues/Alt-Country string-slinger, Matt Katsis.

Combining Flamenco, Gipsy Jazz, Latin rhythms and riffs you can bang your head to, “Malcura II” is the latest musical adventure from the 'Heavy Flamenco' trailblazers. Accompanied by conceptual track-by-track illustrations by Australian visual artist Jamie Peters and featuring “Gerudo Valley” from the Legend of Zelda, the album follows the journey of astronaut ‘Captain Snus’, as he travels through the universe on a mysterious mission from Earth.

“Malcura II” is the follow up to the band's The Age Music Victoria Award-nominated debut album and is co-funded by Creative Victoria.

“Malcura II” is available now via the band's official website and Bandcamp on a limited-edition Double Gatefold Vinyl and CD.
