Made up of Theo Carbo (guitar), Isaac Gunnoo (bass), and Maddison Carter (drums), the Maddison Carter Trio comes to the Wesley Anne for some hard groove, funk-soul-jazz, a good time, and relaxed vibes.

The Wesley Anne residency brings the trio together on the second Sunday of each month to the music of the Meters, Herbie Hancock and more.

Maddison Carter is a Melbourne-based drummer and composer, quickly making a name for his vast textural palette, versatility and extended rhythmic vocabulary as an improviser. Maddison is a leading voice in his generation, performing internationally and nationally.

Maddison performs regularly with leading Australian jazz musicians, and has performed with the likes of Andrea Keller, Eugene Ball, Tamara Murphy, Miroslav Bukovsky, the Allan Browne Quintet.

Honeymoon Bridge is the harmony-folk act hailing from a ghost town in rural Victoria. Singing stories of mourning, haunted heaths and the rituals of life in isolated country. The sororal harmonies of Steph Brett and Helena Plazza are evocative of Simon and Garfunkel and are underpinned by hypnotic acoustic guitar, celtic harp, and old-time mandolin stylings of Stephen E. Stanisic.
