Love Police is pleased to announce the return of Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Lillie Mae and her family band playing Boogie festival and shows in New South Wales and Queensland, with more to come.

Lillie Mae has been playing fiddle on stage since she was three and has two acclaimed albums to her name on Jack White’s Third Man Records label. A former member of White’s live band and a featured singer on his 2014 album Lazaretto album, Lillie Mae stepped out as a solo artist with her White-produced debut album Forever And Then Some in 2017, and followed that with the Dave Cobb-produced Other Girls in 2019. Prior to her work with White, she was known to bluegrass and country fans as a member of all-sibling outfits the Risches and Jypsi, and as an up-to-four-nights-a-week regular at Nashville’s local honky tonks and haunts. Prior to that she traipsed the US with her father and four siblings in a motor home, living the life of an itinerant musician. Joining her on this tour will be siblings Frank and Scarlett Rische, and Nashville via UK guitar slinger, Craig Smith.

“Westside locals Deadnecks bring their jam band experience to Hotel Westwood. Fresh from appearances at Stony Creek Music Festival and Sunshine Daydream, these psychedelic cowboys explore music from the Grateful Dead songbook with that good ol dead spirit. Playing 2 sets on the bistro stage from 6:30pm. Free entry!”
