Multi-instrumentalist Laura Madonna Murray presents Songs from the Shores of Newfoundland. The powerhouse performer and female-artist of the year nominee has been defying genres since the release of her Classical piano album ‘Solo/So High’ in 2016 (Apple Music). With a voice that can be described as a blend of Carole King and Janis Joplin, technique to burn, and a charm and wit that warrants an international documentary (Clavier Chronicles, Play My Piano Forever), this is an evening of music not to be missed. Her abundance of creativity to surprise and hold listeners (The Compass, Creatively Classical) means she is moving from behind the scenes of Melbourne’s biggest tribute shows (Out On The Weekend: Harvest + The Linda Ronstadt Show) to centre stage. LMM brings to life the most beloved songs from ‘The Rock’ with the help of her dear friends Peter Kearney and Nico Anders.
