On Saturday 15th/22nd June Kier Stevens returns to The Charles Weston but in solo mode! Armed with only his dobro and his voice, Kier will burn through two sets of original blues numbers and black ballads plus the odd cover by other Australian artists. Kier has been seen around town playing dobro and lap steel with the likes of Doggerel, Tom Redwood and The Glue, and folk noir duo Come Heavy Sleep, but this show presents an opportunity to see him in bare-bones mode hollering a bunch of salacious numbers at ya in the only way he knows how: real wrong and real strong.
