MANDACARU's lead singer and accordion player Phillipe Alves brings influences from his hometown and over 15 years of expertise sharing Forró from the Northeast of Brazil. Felipe Camara on percussion/vocals is a professional singer and guitar player from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and has been playing Brazilian rhythms such as Bossa Nova, Samba, Baião and Forró for over 16 years.
