Perth pop rockers Cloning are touring Australia for the first time in support of their debut EP ‘Pillars of Salt’.

It’s been an exciting year for the band with a WAM Song of the Year nomination and packed hometown shows. As X-Press magazine comments, “one moment they didn’t exist, and the next they were measured against some of Perth’s best. It’s easy to see why”.

On their debut EP Cloning combine elements of rock, pop, trip hop and shoegaze. Pilerats say Cloning’s debut sees them, “refusing to be placed into a box; their sound the meeting point of many of their big influences – trip-hop, electronica, indie, dream-pop, psychedelic indie-rock”.

Catch Cloning at the Tote in Melbourne on December 5 with support from talented indie-folk singer Chaliah and alt-Latin outfit Funkalleros.

Landmarks is a Jazz/Rock fusion band from Melbourne brought together while studding music together, Lead guitarist Jake.L composed the majority of the song and with help with Alex.W on bass, Matt.H on drums and Joel.K on rhythm guitar they are created something special that they are passionate about.

Foci Foci is the blend between jazz, rock, blues and disco that no one asked for yet is going to receive. With a joint passion of all things music and a strange combination of different influences and musical backgrounds Hugh Kirne (Guitar), Nicholas Clark (Keys), David Parkes (Drums) and Damien Dixon (Bass) are Foci.

D.D.M. is a trio that creates a dynamic juxtaposition between jazz-fusion and metal, with influences drawn from South-Indian and Balkan rhythm. Guitarist Michael Mitrevski, bassist Damien Dixon, and drummer David Parkes, combine their unique playing styles to develop an abrasive, yet melodically rich sound.
