Known for his versatility across an eclectic range of contemporary and improvised music, bassist Jordan Tarento has performed with Refraction, La Influencia, Gideon Brazil Quintet, The Brenton Foster Sextet and many others.

In preparation for a studio recording in late April, Jordan presents two, special performances of original compositions from his debut album, forthcoming on record label Earshift Music. To raise funds for this recording, preorders for the completed album will be available on the night, as well as exclusive access to merchandise featuring newly unveiled album artwork.

Detailed and intricate, Jordan’s compositions blend elements of jazz, chamber music, Brazillian and Afro-Cuban music, and tie it all together with densely orchestrated harmony, tight, polyrhythmic grooves and lyrical, emotive melodies.
