After a year of extensive preparations, auditions and grinding, bassist Jonah Grant makes one final pitstop at the Jazzlab to perform with his closest friends before departing for New York City to study at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music.
The band will stretch out on original music and standards that explore Jonah’s pensive reflections in a post-lockdown Melbourne and his impassioned pursuit to connect with the music and musicians of New York. It will be a heartfelt
send-off, featuring the dazzling talents of a few of Melbourne’s peerless young musicians.
