Already announced for the Laneway circuit, Hopkins will be playing two special headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne following the release of his first album in five years: Singularity.

Inspired by Hopkins' experience with trance states and meditation, Singularity begins and ends on the same note: a universe beginning, expanding, and contracting towards the same minuscule point. Where Immunity - his breakthrough LP provided the soundtrack to an imagined night out, Singularity explores the dissonance between the contemporary world and nature. Tastemakers worldwide have been quick to praise the work:

The album's big ideas and granular techniques combine in ways that few other artists could imagine, let alone execute. - Resident Advisor

"...a near-perfect trip, and one that confirms Hopkins' status as one of the genre's brightest talents" - NME

Hopkins' discography is bulging at the seams with albums, remixes, collaborations, and works in a variety of artistic disciplines. His 2013 LP "Immunity" achieved great success being nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2013 and was praised unanimously by critics and audiences alike. Hopkins has also worked closely with Brian Eno and has been recruited as a producer by David Holmes and Coldplay.

Joining the legend is electronic producer Plan te and vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer Beatrice to round out the Australian contingent of this line up.
