On Nov 14, JMQ Jazz Ensemble features Samantha Morley & Craig Fermanis at The Water Rat Hotel - 256 Moray St, South Melbourne at 7pm. This evening we are delighted to welcome back the classy talent of SAMANTHA MORLEY, who has had a career as a professional singer /entertainer on stage and screen for decades.

A versatile and talented jazz artiste, Samantha has worked in Australia and abroad, and also appears across genres, such is her musicianship. With the JMQ Ensemble she has sang previously at various jazz venues and her tasteful solo jazz album, The 'Nearness of You', was very well received. Presently she is also lead singer in the RAAF bands, as well as in Grad WaZoo and others. Featured Saxophonist is NIELS ROSENDAHL, one of the finest Composer-Saxophonists in the Jazz scene, and also a multi-instrumentalist in the RAAF bands. Joining them on the bandstand this evening are :Michael Harding (piano), Tom Lee (double bass),Tony Floyd (drums) & John Montesante (trumpet/flugelhorn).
