John and Rowan (formerly The Keynes Brothers) are John Fraser (vocals/guitar) and Rowan Cole (guitar/mandolin/vocals). They’re a Melbourne duo whose music draws inspiration from folk and folk rock with some blues influence thrown in. Their repertoire is mainly originalls with a small number of carefully chosen covers. Their lyrics are centered on modern life covering topics from social commentary to love and humor.
