Kiama native Joe Mungovan has released his new single ‘Be With You’, which is available to stream here:

The slow builder is the second track from Mungovan in 2019 and is layered with multiple textures and colours.

"I had been living and recording in the bush by myself for a long time when I wrote this song. It came about because I was in such a beautiful place and having a wonderful time and I wanted to share the experience with another human. The natural environment that surrounded me and the sense of solitude I felt inspired me to write this song."

The final touches were added to ‘Be With You’ at Sydney studio One Flight Up with producer Tim Carr (Matt Corby, Urthboy). The track displays a new side of Mungovan’s sonic pallet with the use of ambient strings, lifting synths and syncopated rhythms.
