Jenny McKechnie is a songwriter that's been moonlighting in punk bands around Melbourne for the last half decade. Stripped of the fuzz pedals and cyclonic energy of her band Cable Ties her songs stand just as fierce and powerful in solo mode. Honest, tough and vulnerable songs about trying to make it through the world in one piece. Stunningly delivered in a huge, resonant voice by a weapon guitarist - as simple and complicated as rock 'n' roll need be.

Sam Agostino is best known for fronting garage punk no hoppers Digger and The Pussycats. When he isn’t busy wasting time in that outfit he can be found pumping out no frills lo-fi punk jams under the moniker Brat Farrar. In solo mode he’ll play material from those acts as well as new and old material from previous ensembles.

Jenny and Sam join forces to play two special solo shows at the The Retreat Hotel on Tuesday September 18 (with special guest Jess Owen) and Tuesday September 25 (with special guests Kate Alexanderr).
