Jason McNear's debut solo album, Harlequin Moon, is finally released, after a music career spanning more than 30 years. In this special Melbourne launch, the songs from the album will be brought to life by a full band, with the addition of cello on some tracks. The album ranges from straight-up rock through to some folk and ballad...and in one case even some gothic-western! What unites them all is Jason's unique take on life, love and music-making.

Supports will be Ash Archer and his live band, and Mer Morte. Ash is a charismatic and upcoming Melbourne performer who has already achieved numerous successes through his music. Mer Morte play captivating and haunting originals, with elements of contemporary, trads & roots music. They feature acoustic guitar and voice, harmonica, cello and cajón. As their name suggests, they delve deep into topics such as death and the sea.
