Wellington/Melbourne-based guitarist and composer Jamie Pye returns to Melbourne this May, performing at the Brunswick Green with a new and exciting lineup.

After graduating from The Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Jamie relocated to Wellington where he continued his studies at the New Zealand School of Music. Striving to create music that conveys an honest sense of storytelling and narrative, his compositions draw inspiration from a host of contemporary jazz composers and bandleaders such as Brian Blade, Aaron Parks, Kendrick Scott and Mike Moreno, as well as folk artists such as Ben Howard and José González. Arranged for quartet, Jamie looks forward to sharing his music again in Melbourne.
