Following a much-talked about set at Kennedy’s Creek Festival in the latter stages of 2018, and the inspired addition of musical all-rounder Ash Briody to their lineup, the sound, image and vibe of Melbourne’s Synth Rock three-piece Jacuzzi is starting to crystallise. After a fair number of gigs throughout 2018 and the start of 2019, they are set for their first musical release in over two years with a new self-titled EP coming out in April of this year. Formed in 2016 by the Morse brothers, Anthony and Chris, Jacuzzi are a group that sonically melds the old with the new, culminating in a huge helping of infectious groove. Led by Anthony’s synth playing and obscure and distracted word play, Jacuzzi combine Chris’s disco infected drumming, and Ash’s melody driven bass lines to create deep moving pulses that leave you boogying down and/or caught in a helpless trance. Catch their new music, and socials below.

Last time we took on Grace Darling Hotel Basement we had our amps almost vibrate off the top of our cabs. With some fresh rubber feet on those bad boys we’re keen to give it another crack with some stellar acts coming along for the ride.
