Captivating jazz singer Jackie Bornstein is excited to be performing in duo with some of Australia’s most in-demand guitarists for one month of Swinging and Swaying Saturday Afternoons (April 13 - May 4).   Sharing the stage with a different guitarist each week, Jackie will pour her heart into an infectious repertoire of French chanson, Chilean nueva canción, cool and modal jazz, bossa nova and original tunes

Paul and Julian compose contemporary music for the 6 string and 7 string guitar. The pieces are written in the style of South American music, from the perspective of two Australian musicians. This music is full of light, heat, melancholy and romance and will bring the brilliance of South America right to your front door.

Funk Buddies - always a great night of live funk for your dancing pleasure. Funk Buddies are a Melbourne based 8 piece band playing down-to-earth brass driven funk. Inspired by the street bands of New Orleans, they bring in influences of 70s/80s funk acts like Tower of Power and James Brown. This month's gig with feature a handful of brand new tunes, as well as the usual dancing and mayhem.
