Local musician Jack Kong will attempt a solo set every Wednesday in November joined by a stellar selection of Melbourne’s finest singer-songwriters. Jack will be trailing new material and possibly revisiting some older material. Jack may also attempt to initiate some kind of weekly interactive and participatory front bar activities. Be prepared but don’t be afraid, let it happen.

It has been over a year since Wilson Blackley turned 16 and decided to pursue a music career and in that time he has recorded and released his first EP ‘Elephant’, written two hours of original music and toured Victoria and New Zealand with his signature sound - an eclectic acoustic mix of roots, rock, folk and soul . Now 17 (or almost 18, as he pitches it), he’s working on recording his first album, honing his craft while gigging around Melbourne and regional Victoria.

From his early gigs around Gippsland he was lead to be a Sunday headline at the Food Truck Carnival in Phillip Island, then onto the Festival of Small halls tour in early 2019. Since then he’s taken his music to Melbourne, playing in various venues to crowds of growing fans, supporting Mental as Anything and also is set to support The Black Sorrows on November 30th

Spawned in the gritty mist of Berlin’s underground music scene, and inspired by the likes of The Dead Kennedys, The Birthday Party, The Cramps, Cosmic psychos and Sonic Youth, Punk rock three-piece Pink Wonder bring their raw, unapologetic, dirty fuzz drive to The Tote Upstairs for a midweek melting pot with other punk and dark experimental electronic/pop tunes. Joining them on the night are local’s Zig Zag, HNYMLK (one half of LoVision), and newcomer siɛrə wɪski.
