Another magical week of ISOL-AID and another jam packed picnic of talent! We are already at week #37 and with cases on the low, our hearts are feelin’ high!

This week, in celebration of her brand new album, “Nothing Breaks, Nothing Mends”, CLIO RENNER is curating the festival, and we are absolutely over the moon. For those unacquainted with Clio - Clio Renner is a Melbourne born keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter who has made her name as the go-to keyboardist and session player for a roll-call of Australian rock royalty, including Deborah Conway, Tim Rogers, Bob Evans, Alex Lahey, Killing Heidi, Olympia and Angus & Julia Stone. A fixture in the house band for the much-loved music show ‘RocKwiz’, Clio also plays with the ‘Countdown’ band, featuring in the ABC’s New Year’s Eve concert broadcasts at the Sydney Opera House. She’s a STAR!

For this week’s festival, Clio has handpacked absolutely dynamite acts who will be wowing us this Sunday arvo.

The first cab off the rambunctious rank is BABY VELVET, the moniker of musician Hannah Crofts provides soaring harmonies, aching lyrics and gloriously gritty and heart-wrenching but always familiar sounds with hard-won reflections on the artist’s life.

ELLA THOMPSON is an artist who is always honing her multi-disciplinary craft — from production, voice, synthesisers and songwriting, to launching her own label and arts publication POOL. One half of GL, Ella solo is a state of maturation and the sound of an artist reaching their purple patch.

DEBORAH CONWAY has been a powerhouse in Australian music for over 30 years. From her first band Do Re Mi to a platinum solo album, in the words of Miles Franklin - Deborah Conway has truly had a brilliant career. We are so excited for this performance from one of this country’s national treasures. Singing songs that chronicle the essential elements of life, love, loss, memory, the mundane and the spiritual. Restless and confounding, her powerful voice and presence has fascinated audiences for the past 30 years. A rare female agitator in a time when the music industry was male dominated; Conway continues to be a role model for young women and a mentor to emerging artists.

THANDO is a Zimbabwean born and Melbourne based storyteller whose genre bending sounds and eclectic sets have earnt her status as the first lady of Australian R&B. Thando is the drug for what ails you. Get ready to go on a journey of loving oneself and discovery alongside this exceptional artist.

Having spent around 20 years in the spotlight, ELLA HOOPER is an authentic stalwart of Australia’s musical landscape. Ella is now building on her credits as radio host, TV presenter, women’s rights advocate, teacher, mentor, public speaker, content creator and respected pop culture vulture. Emerging from beginnings as a technicolour rock n roller in her band Killing Heidi, Ella has cut a swathe through the mainstream and remained an important and electrifying figure in music.

Rounding out this wonderful edition of ISOL AID will be Clio Renner’s performance and launch of her new album. Expect exceptional pop and expect to fall in love with Clio and her tunes.
