Rapidly rising as one of Melbourne's brightest progressive metal outfits, IRONSTONE are all set to headline a big night of modern metal at The Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne.

Deadly serious one minute, brimming with fun the next, this five piece band who originate from Bendigo are at their best when performing. With an astounding skill level and highly energetic stage presence, they blend layers of percussive, low tuned guitars and technical rhythm with infectious grooves, hooks and riffs. Being greatly influenced by progressive giants such as Periphery, TesseracT and Twelve Foot Ninja, their music falls somewhere into the niche of melodic djent. IRONSTONE’s songs are cleverly crafted, bordering on quirky at times. Melodic choruses, thought-provoking lyrics and ambient breaks provide contrast to the heavy guitars, crushing breakdowns and extreme vocals. The result is a highly modern metal sound that is sophisticated and hard hitting.
