Much-loved Australian band Icecream Hands will celebrate the release of their latest album, No Weapon But Love, returning to the stage this December for two very special Christmas shows. Forming in Melbourne in 1992, Icecream Hands – band members Charles Jenkins, Douglas Lee Robertson, Derek G Smiley and Marcus Goodwin – are master craftsmen, with a knack for delivering harmony-drenched, guitar driven melodic rock. With six albums under their belt along with two ARIA nominations, No Weapon But Love is the band’s first album since 2007’s acclaimed The Good China.
The legendary Curtin band room will host the band’s first show in many months, with a set brimming with their classics, and tracks from the highly-rated new album. The band even stated that after being locked away and recording for so long, they’re itching to get out and finally play these new songs!
