Honk is a Melbourne rhythm n' roots band who blend honest country music with lost spaghetti western drinking songs. We’re proud to serve up our debut LP, WITH THE LOT, which showcases 11 original songs and one dusty cover. The songs reflect our obsession with outlaw legends, Memphis music politics, and good old-fashioned bar room rock.

When Jerry Lee Lewis drove up to Graceland in1977, with bourbon and murder on his mind, did he know that over forty years later the tale would be immortalised as “Gates of Graceland”? This honky-tonk epic ends with the bass player shot by the Killer – behavior not entirely endorsed by Honk.

The rest of the album sways and stumbles from straight country to public bar rock, with the odd touch of soul.
