Holly Norman Quartet (8:30pm)

Drummer and percussionist Holly Norman weaves together her classical roots, and love for blues, jazz and world music, to create a evocative sonic world for the transfixed listener. A songwriter and storyteller with a passion for collaborative new music, Holly will be joined in quartet by Rob Simone, Vashti Sivell and Claire Cross for a set of lush, lyrical and groove-oriented original music.

Personnel:

Holly Norman, drums/vocals

Robert Simone, saxophone

Vashti Sivell, piano

Claire Cross, bass

SAT (Stella Anning Trio) (9:30pm)

Stella Anning (Guitarist) will be performing with her new jazz/rock/blues trio SAT with Claire Cross (Bassist) and Alex Roper (Drummer) performing Anning’s original compositions inspired by all things guitar. Influenced by bands such as Kruangbin, The Alcohotlicks and John Mayer, the trio will play a set of jazz with a twist.
