HOLD TIGHT - A COVID Relief Event

We all know it’s been a turbulent year. We’ve weathered storms and held on for dear life. Just as our beautiful music community comes up for breath, COVID-19 dunks us under again.
We will endure. No matter how ugly or dysfunctional the world around us can feel, there’s always hope and inspiration on the dance floor.
Crown Ruler presents HOLD TIGHT - Over two Fridays, 2 July & 9 July at The Night Cat, finding much needed relief for our music artists hit by the havoc of COVID-19.
Music uplifts us when times get tough, yet ironically when times get tough, musicians often feel the pinch hardest.
Over the past month, many artists have been impacted by the blow of yet more gig cancellations, postponements, border closures and restricted capacities. Jumping on an opportunity, we’re determined to give some back. In the process, hopefully giving our diverse community of music lovers a reason to smile, and a much needed release!
Our friends at The Night Cat are a rarified venue across the entire country right now; A space that is able to hold a sizable crowd that meets COVID-safe restrictions and allows us to shake our bodies freely.
Over two Friday nights find inspiration in some top-shelf, forward-thinking music, while putting money directly in the pockets of your favourite artists who have seen their livelihoods disrupted by the ongoing pandemic.
A showcase of those defining our soulful underground, take in cutting-edge live performances then let two of the world’s finest DJs bring it home for unadulterated dance bliss.
