Hilda Green launches her debut album on Thursday 27 Feb at The Wesley Anne. A year and a half in the making & a lifetime brewing, the songs are a labour of love, created layer by layer at Far Carnal Studios with Andrew McCubbin.

Featuring some of the finest musicians, the tracks are a collection of cruisy tunes with an alternate folk, blues & rock country flavours. Originally from South Africa, Hilda Green brings her unique sound to life, alongside guest African musicians Olugbade Okundade (Nigeria) & Katanga Junior (Tanzania). With delightful harmonies from singers Kate Grealy & Tammy Haider — the solid backing of Jeff Samin (bass), Sascha Campbell (drums), Peter Keaney (mandolin), Jane McCracken (keys) — this new release featured more guest stars than you can poke a conductor stick at!

The band will perform their eclectic mix of heart-felt tunes in the cozy surrounds of the Wesley Anne in Northcote. Guests can enjoy a meal and drink while viewing fabulous live performances.
