Hector Harley is a melbourne-based composer and saxophonist who specialises in improvisatory music. A recipient of the Marion Thomas Award in 2018 and nominee for the Atheneum Club Young Artist Trust Award in 2021, Hector Harley recently completed his honours in jazz performance at the VCA. This show, Hector will be launching his debut album - Mansfield - an entirely original collection of music written for tenor saxophone, trombone, double bass and drums. Mansfield explores the interplay and freedom of a cordless musical environment between improvising musicians. The performers are Hector Harley - tenor saxophone, Josh Benner - trombone, Paddy Fitzgerald - double bass and Lewis Pierre - drums, and will also feature a support from Holly Moore
