Ethereal, pixie-voiced singer-songwriter Hannah Potter flits effortlessly between raw anger and outrage, and soft gentle vulnerability. Her songs are a mix of political commentary and personal recollections conveyed through haunting blues-folk melodies and an emotionally charged delivery. Originally from the remote mountains of Colorado, Hannah defected to Melbourne in her early years and has remained in its inner-north, building local renown among the underground for her arresting performances at venues including The Drunken Poet, Whole Lotta Love, The Gasometer.

Cariño Son is a six-piece Latin band playing traditional Cuban Guarachas, Son and Boleros. Their infectious rhythms and melodies have people dancing wherever they play. The good people of Northcote are in for a treat when Cariño Son perform.   The line-up consists of double bass, congas, bongos, guitar and très, saxophone, vocals and percussion.
