Local posse Great Australian Bank bonded over a shared love for sombre post-punk and classic 80’s Australiana rock. Bringing their unique brand of aggressive, angular and politically-charged punk to the stage, the Bank promises a live show that pulls no punches.
Great Australian Bank are celebrating the release of their second EP ’Water Tank’; recorded at Head Gap Studios by local luminary Rohan Sforcina (Gold Class, Little Ugly Girls, Ferla). Pulling influence from the likes of Midnight Oil, The Church and Sonic Youth, Water Tank is an anti-nationalist polemic laden with abrasive guitars.
Joining on supports are Phaedo and Blanco Tranco. $15 on the door. Doors 8:30pm. Bands from 9:00pm
