Fresh off the back of his debut single 'Melbourne Bitter' Gordon Holland is bringing his alternative-country sounds to the front bar of the Retreat for a Sunday afternoon.
Described as an "ode to the plight of a struggling musician" (Global Texan Chronicles) Melbourne Bitter is something all Melbourne musicians would be able to connect with.
Joining Gordon for the afternoon is Blue Mountains expat, now Melbourne-based, hard working solo artist Marina Mitchell with her unique blend of Indie rock and impassioned vocals.
Anna Cordell's rich folk music straddles that place between light and dark, where true human emotion exists. Her penchant for the minor key coupled with her intricate nylon and electric guitar playing and haunting yet uplifting voice make for an incredibly enthralling performance.
Cordell has recently completed her debut album in New Zealand with producer Ben Edwards, and will be releasing new music later this year.
