Glory B is a funk-train loaded with explosive grooves, a strange hybrid of cabaret jazz and blues that has escaped quarantine and is bearing down on rock and roll like an ever-mutating alien virus. Led by pianist, vocalist and songwriter Bryson Mulholland the band features Daniel Brates on the drum set and Mimmo Panunzio on bass. Bryson is himself a strange, quivering beast, born of a piano’s unnatural mating with George Clinton’s best platform boots. Cabaret is his chief vice, and in public he conducts tests banned under international conventions, just to taste the temperament of the post-Tom Waits world. Working exclusively with producer Christian Pyle, Glory B has released three studio albums, Standing at the Door (2018), Sex Party (2012) and Puppies of Steel (2008) through SS Prawn and Spanner Records.

The Long Johns are hitchin’ up the wagons and hittin’ the road with a national tour traversing fresh territory and revisiting some former with a few of their favourite things; Barbecue, Beer, Beach and Hot Rods. Across four states including WA, VIC, NSW and QLD from the tail of March through mid May. You can catch The Long Johns with Whiskey Dram at Wesley Anne, Melbourne Friday May 10th!

Following the Brisbane based acts debut at Woodford Folk Festival in 2016, 2018 has seen the group hot on the festival circuit while also receiving nomination for a Queensland Music award and their latest single “Hound Dog” added to ABC rotation, making 2018 a clover year.
