Led by diehard swinging jazz dancer Georgia, the Georgia Brooks Swingtet brings to the stage a lively repertoire of jazz tunes from the 20s, 30s and 40s. Focused on the spirit of jazz as dance music the Swingtet will have you tappin' your toes and jiggling about in your seat to the rhythm of swingin' jazz.

With close country duo-style harmonies and classic early bluegrass instrumentation, “Burning Bridges” hearkens back to a traditional mountain sound. The band features 5-string banjo (Peter Somerville), fiddle (Tanya Bradley), tenor guitar (Fran Martin), guitar (Mark Wardle) and double bass (Jeff Arnold). Repertoire includes songs of The Carter Family, the Louvin Brothers, Ralph Stanley, and the Delmore Brothers as well as contemporary artists including Old Crow Medicine Show and Gillian Welch.
