Melbourne Rockers Future Static are back with their emotionally charged new single, "Choke", which is out now. To celebrate, they're putting on a show at Whole Lotta Love bar with friends old and new in Excuse for an Exit, Furious George and Stand Tall.

Working hard to become a staple in the Melbourne local alternative music scene, the band are now asserting themselves as an energetic, aggressive live act with equal parts passion and polish.

This Future Static track embodies a transitional period in the band's existence, Leaving a lot of the classic, chaotic grunge rock on the cutting room floor, in favour of a heavier, more technical sound, reminiscent of influences like Bring Me the Horizon and Polaris. The band has blended this new jagged direction with catchy hooks and choruses more synonymous with their debut, "Want". This is the page in motion, halfway turned over.
