Foxblood’s story is one of evolution and today the next chapter commences. Foxblood’s sophomore album Grief & Mercy Sleep is coming on August 5th and today they release the fiery single ‘Kill The Lights’ alongside dates on the east coast.

Kill The Lights is the perfect introduction to the looming album, with guest vocals from Foxblood’s first vocalist and still lyricist Chris Millward, it marks a sonic shift and maturity from the group. Whilst still finding the poetry which built the band;

“At it’s core, ‘Kill The Lights’ is a song about dependency. Be that substance or sober, we all have our vices that make us feel like we’re coming undone.” – Vocalist/Bass Guitarist Anthony Syle.

Produced by the legendary, ARIA nominated Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Make Them Suffer, Dream On Dreamer) Grief & Mercy Sleep is the tantalizing new sonic direction from the band. Seeing them double down on their strengths and reach out with searing new ability.

“Foxblood are one of the most exciting bands I’ve worked with, they have crafted a killer album with each song building with intensity and emotion in equal measure” – Forrester Savell

Boasting the new vocal prowess of Anthony Syle on bass and vocals duties alongside ex guitarist/full time vocalist Tom Beale, Foxblood has fleshed out their sound and have grown into a song writing juggernaut.

To coincide with the release, Foxblood will be embarking on three dates along the East Coast with supports to soon be announced.
