Melbourne based booking agency Amber Mic is hosting another Indigo Nights show on Fri May 14th at Bar 303 in Northcote. Indigo Nights is an event that features local indie bands & will be a night of incredible and diverse music with Firetail, Trad Ukiyo, and Queen Cabu.
Melbourne locals Firetail formed in 2018 and have been on the up ever since; from
warehouse parties to festivals. Their music is a unique blend of 70’s jazz-fusion, South Indian
Carnatic music and Melbourne’s very own brand of jazz-tronica, and will be sure to get you
Trad Ukiyo is a Melbourne based neo-soul four piece, who have crafted together soul, hip-
hop, jazz and RnB to create a smooth, melodic and unique sound. Their single, ‘On Hold’,
was released last year, and shows just how talented this group is.
‘Four mates getting together to sonically depict their own idea of Utopia’, is how Melbourne
group Queen Cabu describe themselves. This four piece has been playing gigs around
Melbourne and providing their listeners with melodic blends of soul, jazz, reggae and folk.
The night will kick off at 7, so get in quick to warm up, get a drink, and brace your ears for
Firetail who are getting things started.
