FeelsClub

Tucked away in the suburban bustle of Brisbane, heartthrobs FeelsClub spend their time inventing an infectious brand of “trash pop” which generates an uncontrollable desire to dance. One of Brisbane’s best kept secrets, FeelsClub have been captivating local audiences for just over two years – journeying from mates’ house parties, right through to selling out headline shows and sharing the stage with fellow Brissy dance accomplices The Jungle Giants and Confidence Man, as well as Aussie favourites Client Liaison. FeelsClub have also been cutting their teeth on the local festival circuit, performing at the likes of Jungle Love, Valley Fiesta, and Woodford Folk Festival.

FeelsClub have just released their debut EP, ‘After The Fall’, ahead of their upcoming interstate tour in November. As is the way of the best pop songs, each track on ‘After The Fall’ couples unrefined emotion with pulsing, celebratory production, whilst adding a touch of melancholia. In the case of the title track ‘After The Fall’, FeelsClub make transforming the chaos of post-breakup turmoil into fresh, dancey pop seem effortless. ‘Excuses’ is a tongue-in-cheek tune taking aim at classist, exclusive ideals, whilst ‘Forbidden Fruit’ asks listeners to own who they are, and ‘be who you wanna be’.

The Florets

Emerging in 2018, Melbourne group The Florets hit the ground running with their debut single 'Sleep'. Led by driving bass and guitar melodies that complemented vocalist Nick Dawes’ rich vocals, the single was a strong statement of intent. The band gained praise on Spotify for their second single landing 'Just Coast' in the Fresh Finds curated play list alongside some solid radio play. Their debut EP 'Friction Made Fiction' was released on August 30th followed by shows across Victoria & Tasmania.

'The songs are about banging your fists on the bar top rather than typing away on the laptop.' Far Out Magazine

Polly and the Pockets

Polly and the Pockets began as the bedroom project of Jackson Pollerd (aka Polly), a multi instrumentalist from the Mornington Peninsula. After releasing his self produced, debut EP ‘Put the Kettle On’ in January 2018, Jackson recruited 3 friends to help recreate his songs

in a live setting. Now featuring members of The Gurdies, Teenage Dads and Heir Traffic, Polly and the Pockets has become a collaborative effort, with new singles ‘Milk Bottle/Freedom’ expanding on Jackson’s self produced sound with a full band behind him.
