Australian rock legend ERIC MCCUSKER of MONDO ROCK fame has worked with some of the best that the Australian music scene has to offer and will share some of the stories behind the music throughout his career.

As guitarist of Mondo Rock, MCCUSKER also wrote a lot of their hits, such as “Come Said the Boy”, “State of the Heart”, “Chemistry”, “No Time”, “Summer of ’81” and “The Queen and Me”.

He also wrote “No-One Comes Close” for John Farnham, included on the 24 times platinum “Whispering Jack”.

In his new solo show “And then I wrote…” Eric talks about his life and times, the songs that influenced him, and the stories behind the writing of these Aussie hits.

In a snapshot of the Australian music scene in the 60s, 70s and 80s Eric also recounts stories of the people he worked with or met from Stevie Wright, Jon English, Renee Geyer, Tommy Emmanuel and Bon Scott, to international notables such as Joni Mitchell, Elton John, Hal David, Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali.
