Melbourne soul artist, Michaela Jayde, is a dynamic and powerful performer who is able to deeply connect with and captivate her audience with her rich, soulful voice, infectious original songs, and endearing stage presence.

Inspired by her love of jazz and both old school and neo soul, Michaela’s approach to songwriting delicately balances rich, intricate harmonies with fresh and innovative arrangements. Also reflected in her powerful voice, Michaela delivers unforgettably moving performances reminiscent of bygone greats such as Etta James and Aretha Franklin, with tasteful subtleties in her delivery that attest to the inspiration she draws from singers like Emily King and Jill Scott.

Come join Emma Volard & friends in celebrating the release of her debut single, 'Empty Spaces'. Emma Volard is a musician/vocalist hailing from the seaside town of Phillip Island. Inspired by the likes of Erykah Badu, FKA Twigs and Etta James, her multi-dimensional sounds mirror elements of RnB, Neo-Soul and EDM to create a stirring and sensual timbre.

'Empty Spaces', is a contemplative song that examines love and it's many intricacies.

Emma Volard will be joined by, chamber-pop artist Max Lawrence, and jazz/hip-hop collective, Waterbird, at The Worker's Club, on Sunday September the 16th, for a night of wondrous sound and electric groove.
