Eggy’s return to the Old Bar stage promises hints of new material, new instruments and new sounds. The tix are cheap, the bands are good and it’s the start of a very long weekend.
Honing their idiosyncratic style over the last six years, Eggy’s songs are a labyrinth of
surrealist complexities, riffs and textures that hint at a bigger picture. They take cues from the avant-garde renegades, experimenting with angularity, textures and improvisation. It’s turbo charged pop with a slice of prog.
With support from Hooper Crescent and Dragnet.
