Meticulously crafted over more than a decade, the work oscillates between a reflection of personal landscapes and a connection to external environments. Be transported through song to the lush environment where the album was conceived and recorded: the Dandenong Ranges.

Interrogating seismic shifts of a personal nature, the album conveys the depth and complexity of the human experience through piano. Characterised by a strong sense of melody, the album is all at once emotional, dramatic and introspective. Backed by an imaginary chamber orchestra, Willoughby’s musical sensibility is informed by a grandiose imagination unbridled by the limitations of a single instrument.
